Opening Good and split free! Good horns. Fugue at 5 nicely
done. Good soloists from 8.
11 not too loud
– good. Well done Baritones. Lovely Horn solo.
Good trombones and percussion from 19. Well done cornet – lovely sound. Euph + 1st
Trombone – good! Pity about little slips in cornet. Nice full band sound.
29 All entries
secure. A few slips in cornet/soprano.
35 Perhaps a
little slow? But, well controlled. Good basses and trombones at 40.
Very good full band sound towards ending.
A very good performance.

Solid tidy opening with all parts heard until 3 into 2 solo
cornets but rest ok and lots of detail.
8+ lots of good work here in all
sections of band to 14 then so
musical to 17+.
19+ super feel and so rhythmic and so
much detail to 23 – 24
lovely. +4 baritone a touch on
short side
26+ all soloists do well just odd hic
but eh!! its not easy.
27 – 28
flows; so balanced
29 lovely rhythmic feel + flows great
tempo
33 not quite secure sop but then ok
35 this flows nicely just odd bar but
ok
40 so solid this feels so secure
42 Great and so balanced
